HVAC Technician

Job Description

Danuvial Service Solutions is seeking a motivated and reliable HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on commercial HVAC systems at various customer locations throughout the United States. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
• Inspect heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for proper operation.
• Replace and inspect air filters, belts, and fuses as needed.
• Check refrigerant levels, oil levels, sight glasses, and system pressures.
• Inspect economizer systems and ventilation components.
• Diagnose equipment deficiencies and document findings.
• Report equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform refrigerant leak detection and repairs in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Utilize EPA-approved refrigerant recovery and recycling equipment.
• Complete service reports accurately and submit all required documentation.
• Maintain service logs and preventive maintenance records.
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, company, and customer safety policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at all job sites.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment safely.

Minimum Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification (Required)
• HVAC Certification from an accredited trade school or equivalent technical training (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of commercial HVAC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders and work on rooftops when necessary.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (Required)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to travel approximately 90% of the time
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Salary: $43,000 per year
